Cast in solid rigid polyurethane our boundary signs are designed to withstand the elements and to grace your roadside for many years.
Staff at Signs of the Times will be very pleased to discuss design and to advise you on sizes, colours and style. Once you have decided on the shape and size of your sign our artists will model the design and a pattern will be made. This pattern will be used to make the mould in which the signs will be cast.
Once the casting has been done your sign is handpainted by our skilled artists using quality, long lasting paints.
FIXINGS:
In most cases boundary signs are installed onto posts. Channelling is fixed to the rear of the signs to be used in conjunction with rotyl clips. Signs of the Times supply sturdy aluminium posts painted to match your sign, together with all fixings required.
Occasionally boundary, or gateway signs as they are sometimes called, are to be fixed to a brick built or stone structure, as in the St Albans and Darley examples above. To accommodate this we can place studding into the rear of the sign. Fixing is accomplished by drilling the plinth and inserting the studs into the holes. The fixing is made permanent by the use of a product such as 'No Nails' or similar.
